About us

Built for real learners, not résumé padders

ScriptingSchool strips everything back to fundamentals. We believe the best coder understands the why behind every line — not someone who leans on tools to write for them.

Why us

What makes us different

Every decision comes back to one goal: producing programmers who actually know what they're doing.

Structured from day one

Every lesson builds on the last. You never find yourself lost because a concept was skipped.

Real projects, not toy examples

Build actual apps, games, and scripts. By the end of each track, you have something to show.

Self-paced, always available

No deadlines, no schedules. Learn at midnight or at lunch — your progress waits for you.

Zero AI dependency

We teach you to think through problems yourself. AI is a tool — you should understand enough to use it wisely.

Multilingual content

Lessons available in 9 languages and growing. Everyone deserves to learn in their own language.

Progress that follows you

Sign in once and your progress syncs everywhere. No account? Just start — it's all free either way.

How it works

The ScriptingSchool path

Every language track follows the same proven structure. You'll never wonder what comes next.

1

Syntax & Basics

Learn the language's rules: variables, data types, operators, and your first program. Small wins, big momentum.

2

Control Flow

if/else, loops, and conditions. This is where you start making decisions in code — the heart of programming logic.

3

Functions & Organisation

Break code into reusable pieces. Learn how to structure programs that actually scale.

4

Real Projects

Apply everything. Build something real: a game, an app, a tool. This is the part you'll put in your portfolio.

Student stories

What learners are saying

"I tried three other platforms before ScriptingSchool. They all got me writing code fast but I never actually understood it. Here I slowed down, and it clicked."

MR

Marcus R.

Now a junior dev

"My Roblox game used to be copied from YouTube tutorials. After the Lua track here I rewrote the whole thing from scratch. It actually works properly now."

AK

Aryan K., 15

Roblox developer

"Spanish support meant I could finally follow along without translating in my head. The quality is as good as any paid course — and it's completely free."

Everything you might want to know before diving in.

There is no catch. All lessons are free, no credit card, no trial period, no paywall. We may add optional supporter features in the future but core learning will always be free.
No. You can jump into any lesson right now without signing up. An account only becomes useful if you want your progress saved and synced across devices.
It depends on your goal. Want to make websites? Start with HTML → CSS → JavaScript. Want to make Roblox games? Go straight to Lua. Want a gentle introduction to programming logic? Python. Want to build serious systems or games? C++ or C#.
Individual lessons are designed to take 15–30 minutes. Full language tracks take 2–8 weeks depending on the language and how many hours a week you put in.
Absolutely not. Every track starts at zero. If you've never written a line of code in your life, you're exactly who this is made for.
YouTube tutorials are great for quick answers but rarely build real understanding. Here, lessons are sequenced intentionally — each one builds on the last. You won't just know how to copy code; you'll know why it works.
You can, but we'd recommend finishing at least the fundamentals of one language first. Programming concepts transfer — once you understand loops and functions in Python, picking up JavaScript is much faster.
